The small river Huntava with its source in the Stříbrné Hory u Horního Města has scoured a deep rocky valley with numerous cascades and a few waterfalls which are the highest in the Nízký Jeseník mountains.

In the cannon-like valley around the waterfalls, original fir trees and several varieties of ferns and mosses can be found.

This area of 71,6 hectares has been preserved since 1966 . There is also a parking lot in the nearby town of Rešov about 1 km from the waterfall.
