The Hotel Imperial is an important Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad) landmark. It’s history goes back to the beginnings of the 20th century. Even then, it belonged to the most important and most luxurious hotels in Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad). And it still does.

A member of the extensive Rothschild banker’s family or of the Polish noble family Potocki. Furthermore, Paul I of Russia - Russian Emperor and autocrat, music composer Richard Strauss, Hollywood stars Douglas Fairbanks and his wife Mary Pickford, princes, maharajas, the most powerful industrialists of their time, and last but not least politicians and presidents, for example Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, or the present president Václav Klaus.
