It was founded in the second half of the 14th century. After the Thirty Years' war it avoided the fate of many other castles destined for liquidation, from the middle of the 18th century on, however, it only dilapidated. It was reconstructed and opened after the World War Two. The castle is one of those with an unforgettable silhouette, in this case especially thanks its typical square tower.
